Our Mission

Our mission at Shielding Minds CIC is to prevent the escalation of social, emotional, health and digital challenges driven by isolation, economic stress, and widening structural inequality. We work to strengthen resilience and well-being in disadvantaged communities and build social cohesion through inclusive, trauma‑informed support. By using data, lived experience, and community insight, we help to shape fairer policy and funding decisions that advance equity, protection, and long‑term community stability in an AI‑driven world.

We exist to prevent the escalation of challenges driven by isolation and economic stress due to the increase of AI, to strengthen resilience and well-being in places shaped by structural disadvantage, and to rebuild social cohesion through inclusive, trauma‑informed support. By combining data, lived experience, and community insight, we work to influence fairer policy and funding decisions, ensuring that the voices of marginalised people shape the systems meant to serve them
