Our story

Shielding Minds CIC exists to tackle the growing inequalities created by rapid advances in Artificial Intelligence. Our mission is rooted in early intervention and prevention, ensuring that disadvantaged and marginalised communities are not left behind as society becomes increasingly AI‑driven. We work to strengthen education, wellbeing, and community resilience by addressing the social, emotional, and digital risks that emerging technologies can amplify.

While our core purpose is to prevent widening inequality, we deliver a range of supportive activities including trauma‑informed well-being sessions, practical AI safeguarding training and future‑skills development, to equip individuals with the knowledge, confidence, and protection they need. Through collaboration with local organisations, government bodies, corporate partners, and charitable funders, we create a connected ecosystem of support that empowers communities to navigate technological change safely, confidently, and with equal opportunity
